When the new school year begins, schools need to accelerate learning to make up for the learning that did not take place over the last year and a half. The challenge of catching up is made is even more complex by the fact in that learning gaps have widened; “learning loss” has been disproportionate along racial and socioeconomic lines, with some students left very far behind.

Districts need to develop plans to tackle this enormous challenge. DMGroup has developed a framework to help district’s develop this plan and we have organized a program called the Accelerating Learning Institute that provides best practice advice, coaching, and peer reviews to help you develop a plan this spring/summer so you are prepared to begin the fall with a powerful plan to accelerate learning.

To be well prepared to accelerate learning in the new school year, DMGroup believes there is much planning that needs to be done this spring. Our framework is as follows:

Accelerating Learning Institute: Features

DMGroup’s Accelerating Learning Institute will support districts in working through this framework to ensure a well-crafted, coherent plan is in place to accelerate learnings. The Accelerating Learning Institue includes (1) group presentations in which we share methodology, research, and best practices for each step of the framework, (2) coaching to support your plan design, and (3) peer review in order for you to share ideas, get feedback, and leverage the expertise of your peers.

Terms and Pricing

Pricing includes all associated expenses. We anticipate that this work will occur remotely.
Note: This work qualifies for CARES Act funding.
