District Management Group named among 10 Most Promising K-12 Consulting/Services Companies by CIO Review for 2018

dmgroup-certificateDecember 17, 2018 – District Management Group (DMGroup) is proud to have been recognized among the 10 Most Promising K-12 Consulting/Services Companies by CIO Review for 2018.

CIO Review recently analyzed hundreds of K-12 services providers in an effort to connect K-12 institutions with the most promising and innovative K-12 technology services providers. A panel comprising CEOs, CIOs, VCs, analysts, and CIO Review’s editorial board reviewed the top companies in the K-12 technology domain to identify those at the forefront of tackling challenges in the education arena.

In an article announcing DMGroup as a recipient of this award, CIO Review recognized the distinctive and “powerful fusion of education and management best practices” that DMGroup brings to our work. The article highlights our innovative K-12 technology and consulting services that help public school districts address key challenges such as strategic planning, special education, human capital management, resource allocation, and program evaluation. The article commends DMGroup for our collaborative approach to working with district leaders and for being “consistently focused on bringing about long-lasting change.”

In particular, CIO Review points to DMGroup’s solutions that combine technology with educational and management best practices to help districts and schools embed sustainable improvements, such as our Elementary School Scheduling solution. Recently, our solution helped Bibb County School District (GA) codify district-wide instructional guidelines aligned with best practices and then, using our proprietary software, develop optimized master building schedules for all 22 of the district’s elementary schools. Our software ensured that new schedules met the newly established guidelines, providing uninterrupted increased blocks of time for reading and math, a 45-minute intervention period, and specials every day, for every grade, at every school. As a result, the district was able to improve equity across classrooms and services and to implement teaching and learning best practices.

CIO Review concludes DMGroup “has emerged as a pioneer in this sector, bringing a systems-thinking approach to ensure all students are served effectively.”
