    Windham Public Schools Tackles Chronic Absenteeism
    For Windham Public Schools (CT), absenteeism had been a persistent challenge with 18% of its 3,377 students missing 18 or more days of school. WPS partnered with EveryDay Labs to identify students at risk of becoming chronically absent and to implement a system for mailing personalized Absence Reports to these students' households. At the end of the year, the data revealed that an estimated 800 to 1,700 days of instruction were recovered for SY2018-19.
