ELEMENTARY SCHEDULING TRAINING AND WORKSHOP FOR DISTRICT AND SCHOOL LEADERS 

Elementary Scheduling Design Institute (ESDI)

DMGroup’s Elementary Scheduling Design Institute is an in-depth, hands-on professional development training program to enable your team to design strategic, student-centered elementary schedules, aligned to district priorities, staffing realities, and student needs.


Objectives of the program include:

Sharing best practices for Elementary scheduling
Helping audit current schedules including instructional minutes, specials, and shared staffing
Supporting live creation of Elementary schedules in DMSchedules aligned with district priorities
Providing individualized support through personalized coaching calls
Creating a community of peers, nation-wide for shared learning


Who should enroll?

Elementary team members may include:

• Principals
Counselors
Teachers (general ed, special ed, or ESL teacher)
District academic leads (i.e., assistant superintendent of instruction)
District staff members involved in scheduling

How it works

Your team will learn our research-backed, methodical approach to building best-in-class schedules while keeping district priorities top of mind.

What to expect:

• Schools or district-based participation (up to 8 members): Strengthen collaboration, build internal capacity, and create a shared scheduling vision
Flexible format: A multi-mode approach with group sessions, self-guided tools, and coaching support. All virtual.
Learn-by-doing model: Apply strategies in real time as you build your actual schedule, guided by expert coaching, templates, and tools
Peer learning network: Collaborate with like-minded teams to share challenges, insights, and lessons learned


Cost

Starting at $11,500 per team, or $10,500 for DMCouncil members

Includes:

• $6,500 of professional development (3 virtual group sessions + 3 virtual personalized coaching sessions)

• Discounted DMSchedules 1-year license of $5,000 for one school*

District-wide packages available upon request

*If multiple schools are represented in your ESDI team, each school will get access to a discounted license cost of $5,000 per school, with one license included in institute fee
