2021 Secondary Scheduling Institute

Learn to build best practice schedules for middle and high school

Does your school or district have a clear process for efficiently designing a master schedule that aligns with academic best practices, efficiently utilizes staff, and incorporates student voice? Are you interested in developing your school or district team's capacity to plan, design, and implement a best-in-class schedule at the middle school or high school level?

District Management Group’s approach to secondary scheduling can help your scheduling team reflect on existing school scheduling practices and learn how to incorporate scheduling best practices from around the country, all with the benefit of improving opportunities and outcomes for students. Delivered over a period of 6 months, the Institute will cover topics such as:
  • Designing schedules that are aligned to school and district goals
  • Planning and scheduling effective academic intervention programming
  • Utilizing approaches that maximize core instructional time for students
  • Incorporating student voice and choice into the scheduling process
District Management Group is proud to host its inaugural Strategic Secondary Schedule Institute Training Program. The first cohort will kick off in early 2021 and will deliver in-depth training over a 6-month period.
Join other school and district teams from across the country that have already signed up to complete this unique professional development experience: equip your scheduling team with methods and tools for managing and leading an inclusive schedule process that results in best-in-class schedules--without expanding the budget or changing the length of the school day.
